Yoga for Kindness for Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week (18th - 24th May) runs each year with a different theme. This year's theme is kindness, where we are encouraged to go out and take part in random acts of kindness. Because #kindnessmatters and it's good for your mental health and wellbeing.

Inspired by this cause I've put together this 30 minutes beginners yoga class for kindness.

We'll start by setting an intention for the class, then move into some heart opening poses. Finishing with a kindness meditation.

The article that goes with this class can be found here:

Props for the class:
- yoga block, brick or old book
- towel or blanket
- strap, belt or rolled up towel

And please remember yoga can be challenging, but should never be painful, so if you do feel any pain, please listen to your body and gently come out of the pose. It's up to the individual to assess whether they are ready for the class that they have chosen. Yoga with Kelly assumes no responsibility for injuries suffered while practicing these classes.

Thank you for practicing with me today!

Stay safe! Namaste. Kelly Xx
